Monica + Michael | Little Rock Arkansas Wedding

From the moment I first spoke with Monica over the phone, I knew she was going to be a favorite. She is such a true southern beauty equipped with a deep generosity that compliments her obvious loveliness. Michael and Monica together are absolutely complimentary. They simply belong together. They met in school and not only studied in the same field, they are both now working together as engineers in Fort Worth. They are also pretty intense football fans--as you will see in the reception photos as the entire room called the Hogs after their entrance into the reception. Their ceremony at Immaculate Conception was beautiful and I don't know if I have had a bride laugh as much as Monica did during the entire day. There were ominous clouds part of the day and some rain right before the ceremony, but it held back perfectly for us to do pre-ceremony photos outdoors.  The reception was held at Next Level Events near downtown Little Rock which provided the perfect classic feel to conclude their wedding celebration. Also--make sure you check out the bouquet toss photos. In eight years of photographing bouquet tosses these images are some of my absolute favorites. Monica and Michael, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your day, I was absolutely honored to be there with you both and archive your precious memories! God bless you both as you begin your family!

Amy + Tristan | Hot Springs Wedding Photographer

The majority of the time my wedding inquiries are from the bride to be, however this wedding was unique from the start as I was initially contacted by Amy's mom, Christine. I kept in contact with Christine and later Amy, and immediately fell in love with the entire family when we met in person about 3 weeks before the wedding! They are originally from the great state of Texas (which instantly gave us something in common), and were planning an intimate destination wedding at the lovely Fordyce Ricks Estate in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Amy is a natural beauty with a boisterous smile and tons of personality wrapped up in such a cute petite frame! Tristan is about a foot taller than his bride, but they compliment each other as well in personality as they do in height. The weather was absolutely perfect for their outdoor ceremony and their day was complete with one of the sweetest Father/Daughter dances ever. Amy later told me that it was the first time she had ever seen her Dad cry, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye during their dance! It was absolutely precious. Amy and Tristan, thanks so much for trusting me with your day and allowing me to witness and archive it for you! You guys make such an amazing pair, best wishes to your new life together!

Huge thank you to my second shooter, Samantha Pascoe, who captured several of the candid shots featured above!

Lacey + Blayne | Dallas, TX Wedding Photographer

I have literally known Blayne and his twin, Paul, for my entire life. They were born 20 days before me (something they never let me forget) and we grew up in the same church nursery, Sunday school, and youth group. Lacey began coming to our church's AWANA club in elementary grades and was a member of the youth group all throughout high school. Somewhere in there Blayne asked Lacey on her first date--which was awkward according to Paul's exclusive commentary given in his best man's speech. As it turned out that seed blossomed into full blown love, years later. Lacey and Blayne are absolutely perfect for each other, one of those couples where it seems absolutely fitting that they be together. And they began as childhood friends--which makes their relationship all the sweeter! I just love them both! They were married March 7, 2015 at Central Christian Church in Dallas, TX--which happens to be one of the oldest church buildings in Dallas! It was such an awesome building with tons of character and detail, which complimented their classic theme perfectly. Lacey and Blayne thank you so much for allowing me the honor of capturing your wedding day! It was exquisite and lovely in every way!

Special thanks to my amazing friend Allix Ruby, who shot alongside me that day and provided a lot of awesome video footage and some great still shots featured in this post!

Charles + Raye // Memphis Wedding Photographer

A month ago I was able to participate and capture Raye and Charles' wedding celebration. This was such a blessing for me! Elvis and I went to school with Charles. Back then all the international students stuck together at our little private college. Elvis was from Romania and Charles from Kenya--but even with such different cultural backgrounds they became friends quickly! But then, everyone became friends with Charles--he is one of those rare people who has never met a stranger, or when he does, it doesn't stay that way long. He is so blessed to have Raye as she compliments his personality perfectly! They are so precious together, and perfectly at ease. Their day was evidence of that, and was such a sweet celebration.

Charles and Raye, it was such a blessing to witness and partake in your joy, wishing for you both that time brings many blessings from the Lord as you move onward through life as one. God bless you!

Danny + Ariel // Conway, Arkansas Wedding Photographer

I met Danny and Ariel about 2 years ago and was thrilled to capture their wedding day celebration! You may recognize them as I also photographed their proposal/engagement session last fall! They were married at Second Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas on the last day of May this year. It was a super foggy, eventually rainy, day but even that couldn't put a damper on their happiness which spread to everyone around them. Their day was so precious to me in every aspect, and I know is just a precursor to many many days they will share together as husband and wife. Congratulations, you two! I love you dearly!
