Rachel + Jake // Little Rock Wedding Photographer

Rachel and Jake are two of the most precious people I know! I met Rachel my freshman year of college, we were on the same floor of the dorm. And despite our obvious height difference we become good friends quickly, and easily! Rachel is full of personality, but still one of the most generous and caring people I know! She is such a blessing to me and I was honored to capture her and Jake's wedding celebration! They balance each other out perfectly, and I am so excited to share in encouraging them as they have begun their marriage journey! 

Rachel and Jake, Thank you so much for allowing me to share in this, it was an honor to stand by you both, even when I  stumble around kicking candles over! Despite all of my antics and craziness your day was exquisite and real. Many blessings and joy-filled years to you both! 

Personal // Just one // Puerto Rico Destination Photographer

So yesterday Elvis and I returned home from two weeks on our favorite tropical island of Puerto Rico! This trip we were there to photograph a gorgeous wedding in Ponce. However, we managed to steal away a few days on the island of Culebra! If you haven't ever heard about Culebra, you should read about it. It is GORGEOUS. And boasts a beach rated as one of the top 10 in the world!

All that to say--here's just one self portrait shot we got one evening at dusk. More to come as we met a portrait photographer and traded sessions the next day! But until then, enjoy a little glimpse into the beauty found on Culebra. We sure did! Now it's back to harsh reality in the form of single digit temperatures! 

Danny + Ariel // Hot Springs Arkansas Engagement Photographer

This proposal was perfect. It was a complete surprise, and I was overjoyed to be a part of it as Danny had described "The Plan" to me over the past few weeks. He was going to propose inside a glass chapel at the Hot Springs Garvan Woodland Gardens. It was all in place. I was going to plant a special green box at the altar to be waiting for them. 

However, as it would happen I got a call from Danny as I pulled in and he informed me that there was a wedding IN the chapel right then! Aaaaand we had no plan B. Turns out there was an amphitheater and I rearranged the plan, setting up there. And so in about an hour Danny saw the place for the first time, and without hesitating walked his girl over to the box and proposed. There were of course a few memorable words in between which I couldn't hear, but you get the picture.  SO happy for them! Enjoy the photo story!

Calvin + Megen // Conway Arkansas Wedding Photographer

It has taken a few years, but I can now say that I do love Arkansas. It won me over with its sense of community and precious people, with its local businesses and southern hospitality. But how it really gripped my heart was through its yearly display of color each autumn. Arkansas really shows off in the fall. So when I heard Calvin and Megen's wedding was in november I was ecstatic. Arkansas novembers are glorious and I knew their wedding would be exquisitely beautiful. What better time to have a rustic wedding than in the fall? Seriously. Well Arkansas didn't disappoint, and neither did Calvin and Megen. Their joy was so contagious and I was so blessed to be there to capture it for them to remember. Many blessings and years of happiness are sure to come for them both. <3

Megen's Bridals // Conway Arkansas Portrait Photographer

This session was absolutely a blast, even though we ran into a 2 and a half inch tarantula! First ever I have ever seen in my life! Eeek! However, despite the creepy crawly encounter I had so much fun capturing Megen's beauty amidst Conway's fall scenery and at the Cadron Creek Settlement Park. Megen is absolutely radiant, and I am so happy for her as she celebrated her marriage on Saturday! Louisiana is gaining a treasure! Wishing God's blessings on your marriage!
