Allyssa + Razvan | Intimate Kansas Farm Wedding

Allyssa and Razvan's wedding was special to me for several reasons. First of all they are dear friends we made in Romania, and come to find out Razvan is basically Elvis' extended cousin! It's a small world. In addition, they are going to be a cross cultural couple, exactly like us since Razvan is Romanian and Allyssa is American. Except they met in Romania, while we met in the states. I took their engagement photos in Romania this past summer and we had a blast so I knew that their DIY wedding on Allyssa's family's 6 generational farm was going to be special. And it was. They both gave their personal vows to each other in the others' native language. And I could hardly keep back tears listening to Allyssa proclaim her loyalty and lifelong love in Romanian to Razvan. This wedding day was so right for them both, unassuming while lacking in no detail, and completely genuine. They had made yard games for the guests and had an afghan station for when the October evening turned chilly. It was absolutely perfect and one of my most memorable weddings to date.  Allyssa and Razvan, te iubim si multumesc lui Dumnezeu pentru voi si prietenia noastra. Dumnezeu sa  binecuvinteze noua ta familia si sa ne revedem in Romania! <3

Madylyn & Co | Little Rock Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

I was able to capture this sweet darling's birth a few weeks ago and was thrilled to spend more time with her family a few days afterward! This was one of my favorite lifestyle newborn family sessions to date! So many sweet moments, I will let the photos tell the story. And they have the most amazing house ever!  <3

Monica + Michael | Little Rock Arkansas Wedding

From the moment I first spoke with Monica over the phone, I knew she was going to be a favorite. She is such a true southern beauty equipped with a deep generosity that compliments her obvious loveliness. Michael and Monica together are absolutely complimentary. They simply belong together. They met in school and not only studied in the same field, they are both now working together as engineers in Fort Worth. They are also pretty intense football fans--as you will see in the reception photos as the entire room called the Hogs after their entrance into the reception. Their ceremony at Immaculate Conception was beautiful and I don't know if I have had a bride laugh as much as Monica did during the entire day. There were ominous clouds part of the day and some rain right before the ceremony, but it held back perfectly for us to do pre-ceremony photos outdoors.  The reception was held at Next Level Events near downtown Little Rock which provided the perfect classic feel to conclude their wedding celebration. Also--make sure you check out the bouquet toss photos. In eight years of photographing bouquet tosses these images are some of my absolute favorites. Monica and Michael, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your day, I was absolutely honored to be there with you both and archive your precious memories! God bless you both as you begin your family!

Kevin + Ang | Hot Springs Wedding Proposal

I received Kevin's initial inquiry about photographing his proposal while I was still in Romania this summer. I was intrigued from the beginning, and the more that I heard about their story, the more excited I was to meet them in person and watch the sweet event unfold! Funny story, I am from the same suburb of Dallas that they are! They both love the outdoors so Kevin opted to propose at the Mountain Tower overlook area--on a beautiful August afternoon that was surprisingly not blazing hot! Kevin had mailed me a rustic piece of reclaimed wood that was special to the two of them and had prepped it with a message to Ang. My job was to plant it on the overlook rock and then camp out and wait for them. Everything went without a hitch, and this is where they not having met me came in handy! Talk about being incognito in broad daylight! Ang and most of her family were there with Kevin. They walked up to the area and he led her down the rock. The rest is history! She was absolutely shocked that he would propose somewhere in a state other than Texas, and the ring was an obvious success! A gorgeous Mia Donna eco diamond in a vintage gold setting. Aaaand check out their wedding hashtag! #willyouberryme Can they be any cuter? <3

Congratulations, Ang and Kevin! It was an absolute honor to capture these moments for you both! I know your wedding is going to be amazing! God's blessings on your new life together!

Amy + Tristan | Hot Springs Wedding Photographer

The majority of the time my wedding inquiries are from the bride to be, however this wedding was unique from the start as I was initially contacted by Amy's mom, Christine. I kept in contact with Christine and later Amy, and immediately fell in love with the entire family when we met in person about 3 weeks before the wedding! They are originally from the great state of Texas (which instantly gave us something in common), and were planning an intimate destination wedding at the lovely Fordyce Ricks Estate in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Amy is a natural beauty with a boisterous smile and tons of personality wrapped up in such a cute petite frame! Tristan is about a foot taller than his bride, but they compliment each other as well in personality as they do in height. The weather was absolutely perfect for their outdoor ceremony and their day was complete with one of the sweetest Father/Daughter dances ever. Amy later told me that it was the first time she had ever seen her Dad cry, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye during their dance! It was absolutely precious. Amy and Tristan, thanks so much for trusting me with your day and allowing me to witness and archive it for you! You guys make such an amazing pair, best wishes to your new life together!

Huge thank you to my second shooter, Samantha Pascoe, who captured several of the candid shots featured above!
